The Mug
Inspired by the pleasure of having a good cup of coffee first thing in the morning. The feeling of being in control as you plan the day ahead and that rush of energy that makes you feel capable of handling anything that comes your way.
For the #LaviMug we paired functionality with a mix of modern and classic accents, embellishing each piece with a detail of its own.
El Marañón
When I tried to replicate Panama’s essence in a statement piece, cashews immediately came to mind, best known in Panama as Pepitas de Marañón. It brings back memories of my childhood, of summers well spent, playing alongside the river and surrounded by horses. This piece symbolizes our Panamanian culture and our people’s warmth.
The Donut Series
The Donut embodies the sweet side of life. The feeling of good news when you're already having a great day. Getting an upgrade to First Class on your next flight. Winning the lottery. Bringing your new baby home. Sharing a bottle of wine and laughing till it hurts with the people you love the most.
With the #LaviDonut we transformed celebration into an #NonOrdinaire affair.
The Rimon(im)
An ancient fruit, the pomegranate, has symbolized different things for different cultures in different eras. For me, it is a symbol of abundance and prosperity. It represents the riches in every aspect of our lives and being grateful for every blessing that comes our way. Abundance is not something you have, it’s something you are. I believe abundance is a mindset.
The Jeanne
Inspiration for #TheJeanne came at the perfect time, while sharing breakfast with a friend at my favorite place on earth. We wanted to enhance the art of drinking Iced Coffee. We aimed to relish the feeling of comfort. The warmth of your grandmother’s house. The coziness you cling to on a rainy day. That voice at the back of your head that wishes to turn your vacation into a staycation.
The Rio
Inspired by that friend who has always been there. The one you can’t imagine your life without. The Rio is that pop of color in your everyday life.
For this collection we paired the feeling of familiarity and comfort of our childhood memories with a touch of luxury, relishing the standard of fondness and deluxe.
